Hiscox USA is tapping Frank Lamantia as its chief technology officer to steer its technology strategy as the company continues its digital transformation efforts.
Starting January 21, Lamantia will oversee all technology development for Hiscox USA. He will report to Mary Boyd, CEO of Hiscox USA, and Chris Loake, chief information officer of Hiscox Group. He will play a key role on both the Hiscox US Leadership Team and the Hiscox Group Technology Leadership Team.
Lamantia brings over 15 years of experience in technology leadership, particularly in the Insurtech and Property & Casualty insurance sectors. He most recently served as the chief technology officer at Bold Penguin. Prior to his role at Bold Penguin, he held technology leadership positions at Magellan Health and Olive. He began his career in the insurance industry with Nationwide. Lamantia holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer and Information Science from The Ohio State University.
Boyd said the company is excited to welcome Frank Lamantia as part of its digital transformation efforts. She noted that Lamantia’s expertise in architecting solutions for Insurtech brands has helped them achieve significant omnichannel growth.

Hiscox USA offers a range of specialty insurance solutions, including errors and omissions, general liability, cyber and data security, media liability, management liability, crime, entertainment, and terrorism insurance.
