EPIC Insurance Brokers and Consultants has made two new appointments for its P&C practice in Dallas, TX.
Krista Aburrow has been appointed a client advocate, while Judith Paredes has been named an account executive. The two will be reporting to EPIC managing principal and director of the southwest region KJ Wagner.
Both Aburrow and Paredes will be responsible for new business development; the design, placement and management of P&C insurance programs; and providing risk management strategies and solutions for mid-market and large clients.
Aburrow was previously with McGriff, Seibels & Williams; her prior employer was Regions Insurance Group, which has since merged with McGriff. While at Regions Insurance, she was one of the team’s commercial lines producers.
Paredes was also formerly from Regions Insurance, now merged with McGriff, Seibels & Williams, where she served as an account executive. Before joining Regions, she was an associate underwriter with AmWINS and a senior account manager and team lead at USI.
Wagner welcomed both executives with open arms, noting that their addition helps the southwest region team grow. He also said that their strong risk management background “adds tremendous value to our clients and our organization as a whole.”
