Everest has announced the appointment of Craig Hanrahan (pictured above) to lead its North America insurance field operations.

In this role, Hanrahan will oversee the company’s four US retail regions: Northeast, South, Central, and West. He will report to Bill Hazelton, executive vice president of Everest Insurance and president of North America Insurance.

Hanrahan previously served as Everest’s Northeast regional executive for North America Insurance. His career spans three decades, with roles of increasing responsibility at Chubb, Marsh, and AIG prior to joining Everest.

“Craig is a trusted and collaborative industry leader whose strategic vision, strong relationships, and results-driven approach make him the ideal choice to lead our North America retail field operations team,” Hazelton said. “With Craig driving our regionalized customer-focused strategy, we are well-positioned to deliver consistently superior service for our retail clients and brokers.”

Other appointments for Everest Insurance

Everest Insurance has also recently announced leadership changes within its US casualty business. Nina Corbo has been appointed as head of US primary casualty, while Debbie Weiser will take on the role of head of US excess casualty.

In her new role, Corbo will manage the risk management and commercial casualty segments. She has nearly 20 years of industry experience, most recently serving as head of risk management for Everest’s North America Insurance team.

Weiser, now head of US excess casualty, will oversee the national accounts and middle market excess casualty segments. Joining Everest in 2017, she previously served as head of excess casualty for North America Insurance.

In the reinsurance division, the global firm also announced that Emily Davis has been appointed head of its global specialties business, including aviation, marine, cyber, engineering, and parametric solutions. She reports to Jill Beggs, reinsurance executive vice president and chief operating officer.
