International specialty insurance firm Ryan Specialty’s wholesale distribution division RT Specialty has made a number of internal hires.
Among those promoted is Rob Polansky, to president of field operations binding authority. Polansky has 36 years of industry experience, including eight with RT Binding Authority.
“I have been very fortunate to have been involved in the design of this operation from nearly its infancy,” he noted. “The support from senior leadership is second to none, and I have truly enjoyed being a part in the build with high-quality teammates across our now 130-plus underwriting teams.
“I am looking forward to further expansion delivering high-quality business transactions for our trading partners.”
Tim Turner, chairman and chief executive of RT Specialty, commented: “Rob Polansky is an invaluable partner, leader, and top executive on the RT national binding team. He is a major force in our ability to grow our national binding authority platform into an industry-leading practice group.

RT Binding Authority president Seth Johnson added: “Rob is an outstanding leader that has been instrumental in developing our binding teams, finding talent, and carving out time to mentor and educate our underwriters.”
Meanwhile, RT Specialty’s office in Hamilton, New Jersey, revealed six promotions within its account management team. The office is part of the RT Specialty Environmental and Construction Professional Practice (RT ECP).
Daniel Wilhelm, ARM, CRIS, CISR, CPIA (pictured above, left) was promoted to account executive; both Gina Bernardo, CRIS (pictured above, center) and Aaron Roland, AINS (pictured above, right) to senior account managers; and Maddie Goodwin, Zach Kalet, and Jenna Koch to account managers.
