Pioneer Underwriters has appointed Dave Sarnoski as senior underwriter for its Miscellaneous, Technology and Cyber Liability division. Sarnoski will report to division vice president David Lucey, and will be responsible for E&O liability business within the West Coast region.
Sarnoski has more than 10 years’ experience in the industry. Prior to taking his new role, he served as executive risk specialist and team lead for Vela Insurance’s professional liability division. Before that, he was a senior underwriter, underwriting E&S technology and miscellaneous E&O risks. He began his career as an underwriter at USLI.
“This class of business represents a huge opportunity for us, and following the success of our launch last year, we are looking forward to sharing our development plans with our broker network,” Lucey said. “Dave’s specialist expertise in E&S technology and miscellaneous E&O risks will be invaluable as we look to expand our offering.”
