CITA Insurance Services and Ascot Insurance Company have collaborated on an errors and omissions (E&O) insurance program tailored for real estate professionals across the US.

The newly launched admitted E&O program is aimed at meeting the professional liability needs of independent agents, brokers, and small real estate firms, specifically those with annual revenues up to $4 million, or up to $6 million in California.

The program targets those engaged in both residential and commercial property transactions, with a particular emphasis on residential revenue-focused businesses.

CITA senior vice president Nick DeSon noted: “This coverage was designed with the independent real estate professional in mind. We’re proud to partner with the knowledgeable team at Ascot to deliver this excellent coverage and value-driven pricing to the real estate agent and broker marketplace.”

The E&O program distinguishes itself with a broad, adaptable set of insurance options and includes a unique personal protection endorsement exclusively for insured real estate agents. Further details are available on CITA’s website, where those interested can also explore opportunities to become part of CITA’s distribution network.

A division of Brown & Brown Program Insurance Services, CITA operates as part of Arrowhead Programs. With over three decades in the commercial property & casualty sector, CITA specializes in custom insurance solutions for professionals nationwide.

Arrowhead Programs maintains a robust portfolio of program-based insurance, spanning commercial, personal, professional liability, public entity, and specialty lines.

Meanwhile CITA’s partner Ascot is a global insurance and reinsurance group with a diverse product range and a strong reputation over its 20-year history.

Recent developments in the E&O space in the US include the addition of technology E&O coverage on Tokio Marine HCC – Cyber & Professional Lines Group’s broker portal, with the goal of providing brokers with a more efficient process for quoting and binding tech E&O policies.
