Insurance brokerage and risk management consultancy Ames & Gough has announced the promotion of equity partners Brian Lynch and Cady Sinks (pictured left and right) to vice presidents. The two operate from the firm’s Washington, DC office.

Lynch brings more than one and a half decades of insurance brokerage experience to his new role. Having joined Ames & Gough in 2016, he was promoted to assistant vice president in 2020 and became an equity partner in 2023.

Prior to his tenure at Ames & Gough, Lynch worked with several insurance brokerages in Boston. He was actively involved with the Boston Young Professionals, Cape Cod Young Professionals, and the Falmouth Chamber of Commerce.

Sinks, with nearly 20 years in the insurance and risk management field, came on board Ames & Gough in 2016. Similarly, she advanced to assistant vice president in 2020 and became an equity partner last year.

Before her current tenure, Sinks worked in risk management for a construction group. Her previous experience also includes a nine-year stint at Victor Insurance (formerly Victor O. Schinnerer), where she ascended to the position of program manager for contractor’s professional and pollution liability.

President Matt Gough commented: “At Ames & Gough our ongoing success has always depended on our ability individually and collaboratively to consistently deliver exceptional service to our clients.

“Even under the most challenging circumstances, including throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, Brian and Cady have been exemplary in their leadership, client focus, commitment to service excellence, and outstanding performance. We’re pleased to recognize their accomplishments and look forward to their continued contributions to our clients and success at Ames & Gough.”

Ames & Gough specializes in serving design professionals, law firms, associations or nonprofits, and other professional service organizations.
