XL Catlin has added two new members to its marine insurance team – Stephen Clark, named vice-president, national Hull & Liabilities practice leader in Chicago, and Alison J. Rizzi, appointed as senior Ocean Marine underwriter in New York.

Clark, in his new role, will address marine business’s hull and liability insurance needs, a release said. He was most recently vice-president of Ocean Marine business at
CNA. He brings over 25 years of ocean marine underwriting experience.
Rizzi returns to XL Catlin after a stint with
Allianz, where she managed a book of complex marine risks. She possesses more than a dozen years of marine insurance experience in multiple lines of marine coverages, including hull, P&I, and marine liabilities. Rizzi first joined XL Catlin in 2005 as an underwriter in the company’s marine and offshore energy business.
