Global marine insurer North P&I Club has announced the opening of a new office in New York to represent its interests in North America.
The new office will be headed by Ian Duthie, who joined North P&I Club from Marsh. The office will work closely with the existing underwriting, claims and loss prevention teams in the company’s Newcastle, UK, headquarters and elsewhere to develop relationships with brokers and ship owners across the Americas market.
