Integrity Marketing Group has announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire Ash Brokerage, an Indiana-based financial advisory and general agency brokerage. As part of the deal, Tim Ash, CEO of Ash Brokerage, will become a managing partner in Integrity. The transaction is scheduled to close upon regulatory approval.
Ash Brokerage was founded more than 50 years ago by Jim Ash to provide health insurance to groups and individuals in the Fort Wayne, Ind., area. The brokerage has since expanded to include life insurance, long-term care, disability, annuities and retirement products. In 1997, Jim Ash transitioned leadership of the brokerage to his son, Tim Ash.
Today, Ash Brokerage is one of the largest insurance brokerages in the US, with 400 employees nationwide. Last year, the firm helped to place more than $2 billion in premium while underwriting $25 billion of face amount. Ash Brokerage also provides consultative, outcome-based insurance services to registered investment advisors.
