WTW has brought in Karen Grote (pictured) as division line of business leader (DLL) for its North America life practice within the insurance consulting & technology (ICT) business.

As DLL, Grote is set to drive growth and elevate client offerings across WTW’s life practice, working in partnership with fellow leader Mary Bahna-Nolan.

With nearly two decades of experience in the life insurance industry, Grote returns to WTW, bringing a robust background in financial modelling, product innovation, and leadership development.

Grote’s responsibilities will include delivering client-focused solutions tailored to the evolving demands of life insurance providers throughout North America.

The key hire’s previous tenure at WTW saw Grote leading key offices in Philadelphia and New York, where she was instrumental in building effective teams and advancing strategic initiatives for clients.

As an actuary holding both a mathematics degree and a teaching certification, Grote has consistently demonstrated her commitment to fostering excellence and professional growth in the industry.

“Karen’s return to WTW marks a valuable addition to our North America life practice,” noted Kim Steiner, head of North America life practice within ICT at WTW.

“Her wealth of experience and passion for innovation will be key as we strive to provide exceptional solutions and service to our clients in this evolving market.”

Grote came on board on October 14, while Bahna-Nolan started her duties on October 1.
