WTW has announced the appointment of Mary J Bahna-Nolan as a senior director within its North American Insurance Consulting & Technology (ICT) team.
In her new role, Bahna-Nolan is tasked with leveraging her technical expertise to enhance client engagements within the life insurance sector.
Her responsibilities will encompass the development of strategic solutions with a focus on life insurance products, underwriting, analytics, and pension risk transfers. Bahna-Nolan will also play a pivotal role in collaborating on other significant client accounts and initiatives.
Bahna-Nolan’s career spans over three decades, during which she has accumulated a range of experiences across senior positions in global insurance and reinsurance companies. Prior to joining WTW, she served as a consultant at PwC and later founded her consultancy firm.
Operating from Chicago, Bahna-Nolan will report directly to Kim Steiner, the life insurance practice division leader within ICT at WTW.
“I am thrilled to welcome Mary to the team. Her deep industry knowledge and subject matter expertise will immediately start delivering value for key life insurance clients. I look forward to working with her,” Steiner said.
WTW’s Insurance Consulting and Technology division boasts a global presence, with over 1,200 professionals across 35 markets. Its areas of focus include financial and regulatory reporting, enterprise risk and capital management, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, as well as products, pricing, business management, and strategy.
Bahna-Nolan’s appointment comes on the heels of another major hire for the global broker, with WTW recently announcing Lynda Gammons as its new head of the claims closure solutions team within its Corporate Risk & Broking division for North America (CRB NA).
In March, it also made an appointment to support its global specialty presence with the addition of Julien Bosc, joining the ranks of the Global Specialty team within the ICT sector.
