Humana has announced that it will offer its members at-home COVID-19 test collection kits and provide drive-through testing at Walmart.
For the drive-through testing, Humana has partnered with both Walmart and Quest Diagnostics, according to a Reuters report. The company will offer at-home collection test kits to its members through LabCorp.
Humana also said that new testing sites will be added at Walmart pharmacies between now and August for pharmacy-observed testing. Quest will pick up the samples for testing, according to Reuters.
Humana members with Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, Medicaid or Employer Group plans are eligible. The insurer said that it has waived member costs for the tests.
Walmart, CVS Health Corp, Walgreens Boots Alliance, and Target, among other retailers, have said they will provide space in their parking lots in order to ramp up testing, Reuters reported.
