Alliant has appointed Scott Parker to the role of first vice president of the company’s employee benefits group in Atlanta, GA.
In his new role, Parker will design and deliver integrated employee benefits solutions, a release said.
“Scott has gained extensive success in the benefits world by taking a holistic approach to organizational health,” said Alliant employee benefits senior executive vice-president and senior managing director Kevin Overbey. “His experience working with a broad array of clients enables him to provide services and solutions that are highly customized and results-driven.”
With over 30 years of experience, Parker was most recently an area senior vice-president and practice leader for Gallagher’s benefits business in Atlanta. In that role, he served a national portfolio of large to mid-sized employers. He also has a decade of experience on the carrier side of the business, having worked for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Georgia.
He earned his bachelor’s degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point. Parker also possesses CLU and ChFC designations.
