Risk Strategies has appointed Brad Gabbard (pictured) as senior vice-president to the company’s national healthcare practice.
Gabbard most recently served as executive vice-president and healthcare practice leader for Willis Towers Watson, where he was based in Columbus, OH. He spent nine years at Aon Risk Services, focused on the healthcare industry, and spent time as a medical professional liability underwriter with General Electric’s Employers Reinsurance Corporation.

A release noted that Gabbard is one of the few brokers in the US to have focused healthcare experience while working with both major brokerage firms and a major reinsurer.
