Crum & Forster (C&F) received the 2023 Diversity & Inclusion Property Casualty Company Award at the recent “DEI: Expanding Opportunity in Insurance” Conference in Washington, D.C.
The award, presented by the American Property Casualty Insurance Association (APCIA), recognizes an insurer’s commitment to promoting initiatives to advance diversity, equity and inclusion in its workforce, on company boards, and in supply chains.
C&F chief human resources officer Barbra Katz (pictured above right) and vice president of inclusion and belonging Mari Marques-Thomas (pictured above left) accepted the award for the company. The award was presented by Tamra Johnson (pictured above center), vice president of public affairs at APCIA.
In addition to accepting the award, Marques-Thomas participated in a conference panel titled “Keeping Pace: Using Innovation to Expand and Improve DEI Strategies.”

C&F has also been recognized for cyber excellence.
