Kroll, a provider of global risk and financial advisory solutions, has announced Katherine Keefe as its newest managing director and global cyber insurance industry lead.

Keefe comes with a wealth of experience. She previously served as the US cyber incident management leader at Marsh. She led cyber response and event management, including managing data breaches and ransomware attacks. She also advised clients on pre- and post-incident management, including relationship management with breach coaches, forensic investigators, and cyber insurers.

Prior to Marsh, Keefe headed breach response services at Beazley. Her experience spans regulatory, transactional, compliance, and risk management issues. Keefe likewise has experience in partnerships at several law firms, including Reed Smith LLP, as well as in-house counsel positions for an academic medical centre and a large Blue Cross plan.

Kroll participates in over 85 insurance panels and handles thousands of incidents every year.
