Jencap Group, a US-based wholesale insurance provider, has partnered with SYBA, a cyber risk management platform, to distribute a new cybersecurity product designed for high-net-worth individuals and family offices.

The partnership establishes Jencap as the exclusive distributor of SYBA's standalone solution aimed at addressing increasing digital threats faced by affluent households.

SYBA’s platform integrates proactive cybersecurity monitoring with reactive insurance coverage. The product targets cyber risks specific to affluent families, offering features that include privacy-focused home monitoring, coverage up to $5 million, and protection for household members, staff, and affiliated LLCs. The solution is standalone, removing the requirement to bundle it with other insurance policies and enabling broader accessibility.

According to SYBA's CEO and co-founder Brigitte Vantieghem, there has been a growing threat of cyberattacks on affluent households.

“Cyber criminals are increasingly targeting high net worth individuals and family offices, and the risk has become undeniable,” she said.

Vantieghem said that nearly 40% of high-net-worth individuals and family offices lack sufficient cybersecurity measures.

"More than a third have reported financial losses due to cyberattacks," she added.

Jencap plans to work through its retail agency partners across the U.S. to deliver the product to affluent clients.

Anthony Manna, Jencap's senior vice president and SYBA program lead, described the solution as a response to increasing demand for personal cybersecurity services.

Manna said the product offers retail agents an opportunity to expand their portfolios while meeting evolving client needs.

“This product underscores Jencap’s commitment to addressing emerging risks for our clients. By offering this comprehensive cybersecurity solution, Jencap and our retail partners will empower affluent individuals to protect their assets, reputation, and well-being against an array of digital threats,” said Manna.

Based in New York, Jencap provides wholesale brokerage, binding authority, and program management services. It collaborates with more than 20,000 independent agency partners nationwide, leveraging its expertise to deliver specialized insurance solutions.
