In response to increasing cyber threats, DUAL North America has formed a strategic partnership with CyberClan, a leading cybersecurity risk management firm.

The partnership will expand the range of risk management solutions offered by DUAL. With the integration of DUAL Cyber into DUAL Passport, clients will have access to cybersecurity services. DUAL Passport enables cyber producers to quote, bind, and issue policies, download policy documents, and receive real-time underwriting updates.

According to company literature, DUAL Cyber offers first- and third-party solutions for small to mid-sized businesses, protecting them against various technology-related threats. The program helps businesses respond to and recover from digital attacks and includes preventive safety features. Coverage includes system failure, dependent system failure, cyber theft, telephone phreaking, crypto jacking, invoice manipulation, voluntary shutdown, claim preparation costs, and betterment.

“Our partnership with CyberClan provides us with unique insights into our insured’s security posture. This relationship enables DUAL to proactively mitigate cyber events before they escalate into claims, offering a ‘first-rate’ risk management platform. It enhances our competitiveness and helps reduce claim frequency and severity,” said Lawrence Baldino, president of cyber, technology, and professional liability at DUAL North America.

Additionally, DUAL’s insured clients will receive complimentary CyberClan risk management services, with the option to access additional services under CyberClan’s Service Level Agreement (SLA) at a discounted rate.

CyberClan focuses on identifying vulnerabilities, designing suitable security architecture, and strengthening the human element of cybersecurity. The partnership aims to leverage CyberClan’s expertise to reduce risk and protect clients’ operational infrastructure from potential cyberattacks.

“We are excited to join forces with such a forward-thinking insurance underwriter,” said Patrick Griffith, EVP of sales and revenue operations at CyberClan. “Together, we’re positioned to innovate the industry with creative, customer-first approaches and cutting-edge technologies. Our mission is to better serve, protect, and inform policyholders while supporting them in adapting to the ever-evolving landscape of risk management.”
