Venbrook Insurance Services has promoted an executive to help lead the sales, marketing, and account management efforts of its construction division.
Tim Johnston has been appointed managing director of the construction division. On top of administering the division, he will also “manage, mentor, and lead the construction servicing team,” a release said.
As managing director, Johnston “will continue to drive the strategy for sales growth through the various construction distribution channels, foster client relations and broker partnerships, while contributing to Venbrook’s long-range plan and vision,” the company remarked.

“Since 2009, Tim has been a consistent and successful producer within Venbrook Insurance Services,” Venbrook CEO Jason Turner said. “Tim has steadily delivered excellent sales performance as displayed by the year-over-year growth of the construction division. His ability to build strong relationships with our insurance community has been invaluable. We look forward to seeing him further instill confidence with our clients.”
Johnston has been in the insurance industry since 1983, with a focus on property & casualty insurance. For the past 35 years, he has served various industries, and has worked with and been a member of trade associations such as CALPASC, ECA, AGC, BIA, SCCA, and NECA.
