Rokstone Construction Risk Underwriters (Rokstone CRU), part of Rokstone, the Aventum Group’s international reinsurance MGA, has announced the appointment of Dan McCarthy as vice president. In his new role, McCarthy will lead Rokstone’s Western Region growth strategy.

McCarthy has a decade of experience in casualty and specialty lines coverage for the construction industry. Prior to joining Rockstone, he served as assistant vice president for ABD Insurance and Financial Services, where he was responsible for managing the P&C construction team. He has also held positions with AXA XL’s construction group and Zurich North America.
