Insurance program administrator Pioneer Programs Insurance Solutions has announced the appointment of Mary Wiseley (pictured) as president of its specialty contractors division. In her new position, Wiseley will be responsible for generating, building and maintaining strategic relationships with agents and brokers working in the specialty contractors space. Pioneer Programs will write primarily through a specialty contractor facility with Lloyd’s.
Wiseley has more than 25 years of experience in writing specialty contractor business. Prior to joining Pioneer Programs, she was a senior vice president at New York City-based Pioneer Underwriters, which is not affiliated with Pioneer Programs. She’s also served as an assistant vice president at Berkeley Insurance Group, where she started a new subcontractors program.
“Mary brings a wealth of industry knowledge to this new position, and we are very excited to have her lead this business unit for Pioneer Programs,” said Carole Fleischman, CEO of Pioneer Programs. “We are confident she will build on our current relationships within the specialty contractors space and continue to bring the program, backed by the history and strength of Lloyd’s, into the future.”
