Warm and humid winds are expected to catalyze thunderstorms across the central United States this week. The foul weather is even forecast to cross the border towards southern Canada, meteorologists said in a report.
"A couple of stronger thunderstorms will be possible across parts of the Plains and Midwest on Tuesday and Wednesday as a cold front sweeps across the region," AccuWeather meteorologist Steve Travis added.
Moisture brought about by warmer and more humid conditions will surge from the Gulf of Mexico, leading to localized rain showers and thunderstorms.
These storms could blanket the eastern Dakotas to central Kansas coming into Tuesday, as strong winds are seen to result in hail storms.
Rapidly changing atmospheric conditions will hit Grand Forks and Fargo, North Dakota; Sioux Falls and Aberdeen, South Dakota; Omaha and Grand Island, Nebraska; and Hays, Kansas.
The tumult is expected to reach parts of southern Canada from southern Canada from Winnipeg, Manitoba, to Thunder Bay, Ontario.
Flash floods will come where thunder storms repeat.
Still, the weekend will bring in a cold front and shoot cool dry air that will push more thunderstorms into the Ohio Valley on Thursday and the Northeast on Friday.
