Zurich North America has named two leaders for its US middle-market South region. Kim Jordan (pictured above) has been appointed regional vice president for the South region, and Jim Heintz has been named underwriting manager for the South Central area.
“Both Kim and Jim were named to these positions on an interim basis in January, and I could not be more excited to make these appointments permanent,” said John Diaz, chief operating officer, US middle market, for Zurich North America.
In her new role, Jordan will be responsible for driving the success of Zurich’s middle-market book of business in the South region, including cultivating distributor and customer relationships and developing underwriting talent. She will report to Diaz.
Jordan joined Zurich in 2017 as a middle-market underwriting manager. She has 30 years of industry experience, and previously held underwriting leadership roles at Travelers in middle market, national accounts, and construction. She holds a Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter designation.
