Woodruff Sawyer has revealed that Sean Coady, senior vice-president and New England practice leader, has joined the company’s board of directors.
Prior to joining Woodruff Sawyer in 2015, Coady was a co-founder of Capstone Insurance – a Boston-based independent insurance brokerage that Woodruff Sawyer acquired in 2015.
In his role as practice leader for the New England region, Coady leads the company’s overall strategic plan, vision, and business development in the area out of Woodruff Sawyer’s Boston office. A release said that Coady is an expert in executive liability and risk management – particularly D&O liability and M&A insurance.
“Sean’s business and advisory experience with a variety of industry sectors such as technology, venture capital, and life sciences, combined with his geographic perspective gives our board an added dimension,” commented Woodruff Sawyer CEO Andy Barrengos in a statement.
At present, Woodruff Sawyer manages the protection of people and the assets of over 4,000 companies.
