Willis, a WTW business, has appointed Guy Donahue (pictured above) as cross-industry Midwest property broking leader within its Corporate Risk and Broking North America division.
In this role, Donahue will oversee strategic initiatives, manage client relationships and lead property broking efforts across multiple industries in the Midwest.
Donahue has more than 20 years of experience in commercial property insurance broking, working with industries including mining, semiconductors, automotive manufacturing and pulp and paper. His background includes experience in global insurance markets such as the US, Bermuda, London and Europe, where he has worked to secure terms for complex property programs.
Before joining Willis, Donahue was senior account manager and unit manager for Midwest property at Lockton. He also previously served as senior vice president for property client advisor at Marsh.
Commenting on Donahue’s deep industry experience, Scott Pizzi, head of property broking for Corporate Risk and Broking North America said: “His ability to navigate complex risk landscapes and deliver tailored solutions will be instrumental as we strengthen our property broking capabilities in the Midwest.”
Donahue joined WTW on February 3 and reports to Pizzi. His appointment is part of Willis’ broader efforts to enhance its property broking services and expand its capabilities in the region.
WTW recently appointed Stephen Kyriacou as head of litigation and contingent risk solutions for North America. Last month, it named Mark Mamone as head of technology delivery and strategy for its Insurance Consulting and Technology business.
