Willis Towers Watson has appointed long-time executive Alexis Faber as global head of financial lines.
In her new role, Faber will be responsible for the strategic direction of the financial lines business, which is part of the company’s corporate risk and broking segment.
Faber will lead a team of more than 800 professionals around the world to help Willis Towers Watson in its efforts to become the leading risk advisor for clients across financial and executive lines, financial solutions and other financial products.
Faber will keep reporting to Todd Jones, the global head of corporate risk and broking. She will also continue to be responsible for the strategic direction of the company’s international cyber business.
“We are thrilled to have Alexis leading this important business for Willis Towers Watson,” Jones said. “Her strong background in financial lines, combined with her broad financial, operational and leadership experience, will help us execute on our strategy in corporate risk and broking.”
Faber has more than 16 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry. She previously served at Willis as co-head of global financial lines and leader of FINEX in North America.
Before joining Willis in 2003, she worked in investment banking at Citigroup with a focus on the financial services Industry.
