A member of Valley Insurance Agency Alliance (VIAA) has announced that it has acquired an agency in St. Louis, MO.
Insurance Group of St. Charles County recently purchased Insurance of Ellisville, a family-owned and operated company founded in 2016.
“We purchased this well-established agency because it will help us grow our business more cost-effectively,” said Insurance Group of St. Charles County owner Ben Fischer.
Insurance of Ellisville offers auto, homeowners, renters, and umbrella coverage. The company serves clients throughout Missouri, promising a “hand-crafted and hassle-free” customer experience.
Fischer added that Insurance Group of St. Charles County’s membership with the VIAA has also helped in its growth strategy.
“We joined VIAA in 2011 and, with their help, we have continued to expand over the years. This new agency purchase will help us do the same, as well as work more efficiently,” he said.
The full-service insurance agency Insurance Group of St. Charles County was founded in 1992. Specializing in personal and business insurance, the company is owned by Ben and Rhonda Fischer.
VIAA, established in 2006, generates over $165 million in written premium. It is the regional founding member for the Strategic Insurance Agency Alliance (SIAA), a $7.4 billion national alliance.
