USI Insurance Services has named Chris Swensen property and casualty practice leader for its Salt Lake City, Utah, office.
In his new role, Swensen’s responsibilities are to leverage the USI ONE Advantage to drive strategic growth, as well as “build new client relationships throughout Utah, and attract and maintain talented insurance professionals,” a release said.

“Chris will be a huge asset to our team in our Salt Lake City office because of his ability to develop a strategic vision, which is supported by his leadership abilities and practical sales experience,” said USI Mountain regional CEO Donald Woods. “In addition, his deep insurance expertise and passion for customer service will have a positive effect on growing the Utah market, and we are excited to have him join our region.”
Swensen has over 18 years of insurance industry experience, particularly in relation to the property and casualty insurance business. His experience expands a wide range of industry verticals including group captives, professional liability, workers’ compensation and property and casualty.
