Fortune has named military insurer USAA one of its 2017 Blue Ribbon Companies – 32 companies recognized on four or more of Fortune’s most prestigious lists. This is the second time USAA has been named a Blue Ribbon Company.
USAA made four Fortune lists this year:
- No. 102 on the Fortune 500
- No. 401 on the Global 500
- No. 35 on Fortune’s “Best Companies to Work For”
- No. 2 in the insurance industry on Fortune’s “World’s Most Admired Companies”
“This is a great honor and speaks volumes about our mission, culture and talent,” USAA CEO Stuart Parker said. “Our employees earned this honor by delivering superior service to the military community.”
In addition to appearing on four Fortune lists this year, USAA was recognized as one of the world’s most ethical companies by the Ethisphere Institute and ranked as the most reputable bank in the 2017 Annual Bank Reputation Survey. It was also recognized as the number one military-friendly brand.
