Underwriter launches new pollution product for facilities

An environmental-focused underwriter has created a new pollution policy for facilities, including general and site-specific coverage.

A new environmental insurance product from PartnerOne Environmental and Berkley Environmental is now available to producers working with facilities.

The product, PartnerOne Facilities Casualty & Pollution, provides general liability and site specific pollution liability, as well as contractors pollution liability and products pollution liability. Target risks include environmental products manufacturing, transfer stations, wastewater treatment plants, landfills, recycling operations and cold storage warehousing.

Premiums start at $10,000.

“A policy tailored to meet the unique exposures of operation and manufacturing facilities is the perfect complement to our existing platform,” said Amanda Duncan, President of PartnerOne Environmental. “We are excited to partner with one of the strongest environmental carriers in the industry to provide this comprehensive policy and assist our agents and brokers in security quality coverage for their clients.”

PartnerOne is the underwriting division for Beacon Hill Associates, and Berkley Environmental is a division of Berkley Specialty Underwriting Managers.
