A Houston, TX woman may have bitten off more than she could chew after she was charged with insurance fraud for claiming she suffered from food poisoning on several occasions.

The woman, Cassandra Brooks, had previously won a lawsuit against Sonic Drive-In. According to court documents, she was sold a raw burger from the restaurant chain’s Lake Charles, LA location. Brooks provided a picture of the burger and sued the company, later settling for $10,000 for lost wages, medical bills and physical stress.

But Brooks allegedly did not stop there. She later claimed she received another raw burger at a Sonic in Webster, TX, the Texas Department of Public Safety said. She filed yet another claim, purporting that she missed work due to the illness.

Investigators were not convinced of Brooks’ claim, saying that the pictures she provided for the Webster, TX claim were actually from her earlier claim for the Lake Charles, LA burger.

Brooks could not be reached for a statement. KTRK reported that she is due back in court in August.
