Massachussetts-based Mirick Insurance Agency and Albert B. Allen Insurance Agency have joined Wheeler & Taylor Insurance.
“With this new arrangement, we can provide additional insurance products, offer specialized expertise, and represent more insurance companies,” stated Patrick Shippee, president of Mirick.
Meanwhile, Brock A. Hines, president of Albert B. Allen, added: “The partnership gives us a national reach and lets us write home, auto, and business insurance throughout the country. We will always offer the same personal hometown service.”
Under the partnerships, the agencies will continue operating using their existing names, premises, and talent including management. With Wheeler & Taylor’s backing, though, they get to expand their insurance portfolios not only locally but across the country as well.
Wheeler & Taylor president J. Scott Rote emphasized the mutual benefits of the collaborations, saying: “By partnering with Wheeler & Taylor, both agencies can do even more for their personal and business customers.
“Local decision-making combined with national resources creates a unique opportunity for agencies like them to preserve their heritage and commitment to the local community while at the same time significantly expanding their access to a broadened marketplace of insurance carriers, knowledge to insure nationwide, and commercial expertise allowing for expanded product offerings.”
Serving Franklin County since 1925, Albert B. Allen is dedicated to being the premier independent insurance agency in the area. It is located at 277 Federal Street in Greenfield.
For Mirick, which was established in 1980 and can be found at 28 Bridge Street in Shelburne Falls, a key focus for the firm is on technology that will constantly connect customers with insurance companies. Its goal is to make insurance coverage straightforward, affordable, and easy to understand.
Wheeler & Taylor is based in Berkshire County in Massachussetts.
