Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. has acquired two regional insurance agencies: Texas-based Howe Insurance Group LLC, operating as DMc Insurance Partners, and Indiana-based M.J. Schuetz Insurance Services Inc.

DMc Acquisition

DMc Insurance Partners specializes in personal lines insurance and caters to individuals and small business owners.

John McNulty, Scott Durkin, and their team will continue to operate from their current location, reporting to Gino Bonacci, who leads Gallagher's U.S. retail property/casualty brokerage personal lines division.

According to J. Patrick Gallagher, Jr., chairman and CEO, the acquisition bolsters Gallagher’s services in the Austin market.

"DMc Insurance Partners has a strong local reputation and will expand our personal lines and small business capabilities in a key market," said Gallagher, Jr.

M.J. Schuetz Merger

M.J. Schuetz Insurance Services Inc., based in Indianapolis, provides property/casualty insurance, surety, and bonding services throughout the Midwest. The agency focuses on industries including construction, landscaping, manufacturing, and real estate.

"Schuetz Insurance has a deep history of growth and client service, and their strong niche capabilities will enhance our retail brokerage operations in the Midwest," said Gallagher, Jr.

The team is led by Dave Linthicum, Mike Cocoran, Jenni Waggoner, Stella Milli, and Pamela Kreeb. They will remain in place under the leadership of Sean Gallagher, who oversees the company’s Great Lakes retail property/casualty brokerage operations.

These acquisitions are part of Gallagher’s ongoing strategy to expand its geographic reach and service offerings in key markets across the United States.

For the month of December alone, Gallagher announced several acquisitions including the Caytons Law LLP, Hann Insurance Brokers Pty Ltd, and AssuredPartners.

Both DMc Insurance Partners and Schuetz Insurance bring localized market expertise and established client bases that align with Gallagher’s broader business objectives.

With Gallagher continuing to grow its operations through strategic acquisitions, the integration of these agencies underscores its commitment to enhancing its capabilities in personal lines and niche markets.
