The Insurance Accounting & Systems Association has awarded The
Travelers Companies with its 2017 Excellence Award, according to a news release. The IASA bestows the award to honor member companies for their contributions to the association and the insurance industry as a whole.
“Travelers has been widely recognized within IASA circles as a great supporter of the association, with active and engaged professionals serving at every volunteer level, both nationally and locally,” said Rod Travers, IASA president.
“I’m so pleased that our leadership decided to acknowledge Travelers in this way,” said Joe Pomilia, the association’s executive director. “Their employees who have been active volunteers or served as knowledge experts for out education programs have all been incredibly dedicated individuals.”
Travelers is the 14th recipient of the Excellence Award, which the IASA has given only periodically over its 89-year history, according to the news release.
