Brady, Chapman, Holland & Associates (BCH), one of the largest privately held insurance brokerages in the Southwestern United States, has appointed Timothy J. Brady (pictured above left) as its new CEO, effective Jan. 1.

Brady succeeds his father, Jeffrey L. Brady (pictured above right), who will remain with the firm as chairman and continue managing day-to-day client relationships.

BCH said that the leadership transition is part of a long-term continuity plan aimed at ensuring stability while positioning for future growth. Brady will oversee operations, guide strategic initiatives, and continue his role as a risk advisor.

Jeffrey Brady noted the importance of maintaining continuity during this change, citing Timothy Brady’s experience and understanding of the firm’s mission.

"He listens to and values others’ opinions and is willing to work as part of the team to find solutions that make sense. He’s the right man for the job, and I’m looking forward to working alongside him in this new capacity,” Jeffrey Brady said.

Timothy Brady joined BCH in 2008 as the third generation of his family involved in the business. A Houston native and graduate of Texas Christian University, he began his career with positions at AmWINS and Amerisure, gaining experience in wholesale brokerage and insurance before joining BCH.

At BCH, he advanced from risk advisor to vice president roles and was promoted to president in early 2024. He has also served as president of RiskProNet International, a member-based network of privately held regional insurance agencies across North America.

Reflecting on his new role, Timothy Brady expressed his appreciation for the firm and its team.

“We’ve been planning next steps for years, and we’re confident that this transition is the right choice for all involved,” he said.

As CEO, Timothy Brady said that he plans to prioritize team development and internal education to meet the evolving needs of the firm’s clients. A newly launched initiative, BCH University, aims to provide employees with training on the firm’s culture and strategies for addressing emerging business risks.

"We have a fantastic team I’m proud to work alongside, a reputation as one of the best in the business, and a dedication to elevating our consulting services for our clients," said Timothy Brady.
