The Hilb Group (THG) has announced the acquisition of Massachusetts-based Bruce Crohn, LLC. The transaction was effective December 01.
Crohn is a full-service employee benefits consultant and insurance brokerage based in Cambridge, Mass. Crohn provides insurance coverage and assists in managing group benefits for small- to medium-sized companies, with a focus on early-stage technology firms.
“As we looked for new opportunities to help our clients grow their businesses, we found THG to be a perfect fit for our company,” said Bruce Crohn, managing director of Crohn. “Now we can bring additional insurance products and solutions to our clients as well as greater growth opportunities for our associates.”

This is THG’s second recent Massachusetts acquisition. Last week, the company announced its acquisition of Westborough, Mass.-based Mackintire Insurance Agency.
