Swiss Re Corporate Solutions has named Daniel Vetter to lead its excess & surplus business in North America, effective January 01, 2019.
As head of North America excess & surplus, Vetter will be responsible for the strategy and growth of Swiss Re’s E&S P&C business, as well as establishing financial & professional lines within the unit. He will be based in New York and will oversee dedicated sales and underwriting teams within the North America region.
Vetter has more than 20 years of insurance experience. He joined Swiss Re in 2000, and has since held a number of P&C underwriting leadership roles in Swiss Re Corporate Solutions and in other organizations that preceded SRCS. He was most recently head of casualty.
