Swiss Re Corporate Solutions – which serves clients around the globe from more than 50 locations worldwide – has gained another office in the US.
The new office is located in Downtown Los Angeles, at 777 South Figueroa Street. A release said that the office will serve as a hub for the US West region, strengthening Swiss Re’s commitment to the California marketplace.
Swiss Re’s corporate insurance team in Los Angeles will focus on working with large and midsized companies in technology, construction, real estate and the public entity space, via broking partners and intermediaries. The team will provide a range of products and risk transfer solutions, which include property, executive risks, and international programs.
“A stronger presence in Downtown Los Angeles brings us closer to brokers and customers and gives us access to a deep talent pool,” said Swiss Re Corporate Solutions North America CEO Ivan Gonzalez, who also pointed out that the company’s local team has served Los Angeles for over five decades.
Jennifer Knox, currently Swiss Re head of US West, will lead the Corporate Solutions team in California. She has been a member of Swiss Re Corporate Solutions since 2015.
“The new location presents an opportunity for increased engagement with corporations and organizations contributing to the growing Southern California economy,” commented Knox.
