A German soccer team’s Champions League quarter-final with Monaco has been postponed after the team’s bus was damaged by an explosion, according to a BBC report.
The match was postponed just 15 minutes before the kick-off, the BBC reported. The team, Borussia Dortmund, said that defender Marc Bartra had been injured, but that there was “no danger inside the stadium.”
Bartra was sent to the hospital for treatment. The explosions broke the windows on the bus, according to the BBC.
Dortmund tweeted that “A bomb exploded at the team bus next to the hotel.” Meanwhile, police confirmed that there had been three explosions in the area of the bus. The players were all safe, however, the BBC reported.
The match will now be played Wednesday at Dortmund’s Westfalenstadion, according to the BBC.
