Smart Choice has reported that, for last year, it surpassed its previous growth records.
In 2017, the network saw the addition of 1,160 new agency partners, bringing its total number of partners to over 6,200. The company also saw more than 30% gross revenue growth for the year – an 18% year-over-year increase from 2016. This is the third straight year of double digital growth for Smart Growth, a release said.
“Thirty per cent (30%) growth is something everyone here is extremely proud of – we worked really hard this year,” commented Smart Choice president Andrew Caldwell. “Our engagement at all levels is a huge focus as we continue to grow, and we will be zeroing in on solutions that increase revenue for our agency and carrier partners. Our focus each and every day remains to deliver on promises and meet the needs of independent agents.”
Smart Choice has created three new management positions in the home office, hired additional staff for its Smart Start divisions and appointed a number of territory managers – all to serve its growing agency base better. The company has also created several incentives for agency partners, one of which is the Leadership Club that gives members 100% of their commissions.
