Seeman Holtz Property & Casualty has acquired Lakes Insurance Group in South Florida.
Lakes Insurance Group specializes in commercial insurance and serves thousands of business owners in South Florida. The acquisition of Lakes strengthens Seeman Holtz’s commercial insurance division in the state, as well as increasing the latter’s client base.
“Lakes Insurance Group is a fantastic acquisition for us made up of predominantly commercial insurance business in South Florida. We continue to target high quality agencies,” said Seeman Holtz Property & Casualty president Marshal Seeman.
“We are happy to continue our expansion into the Greater Miami area. Lakes Insurance has put a great book of business owner clients together that will benefit of our comprehensive family of companies,” added Seeman Holtz Property & Casualty executive vice-president Brett Williams.
Also earlier this week, Seeman Holtz acquired Transway Insurance Agency in Houston, TX, which specializes in business and trucking insurance.
In a release, Seeman Holtz Property & Casualty said that it “continues to target high-quality independent agencies for geographic expansion and continued growth throughout the United States.”
