Satellite Agency Network (SAN) Group has hired Kathy Gray (pictured) to serve as its newest commercial lines placement specialist.
As part of SAN Group, she will join the company’s AccessPlus department, where she will be a primary resource for agents on matters involving commercial lines. Her role includes advising member agents, preparing quote proposals, researching markets, and engaging carrier underwriters.
Gray is a licensed broker and notary public, and has more than 25 years of experience in commercial lines, including account management, sales, client service, and marketing. Before joining SAN Group, she spent much of her career working at a family-run agency in Lexington, MA. In that role, she was responsible for all aspects of consultative client interaction for service and sales.
She holds a CIC designation.
“Kathy has worked in the insurance industry for many years and her industry knowledge, particularly when it relates to commercial insurance, makes her an asset in today’s marketplace,” commented SAN Group senior vice-president of agency operations & development and SIAA chief operating officer Jeff Holmes.
SAN Group is the founding master agency of SIAA – Strategic Insurance Agency Alliance – a major national alliance of independent insurance agencies.
