Satellite Agency Network Group (SAN) has appointed Mike Terry (pictured) as regional vice-president of southern/eastern Connecticut and Rhode Island.
In his new role, Terry will be overseeing the membership service, business development, and insurance company relations of the region he is based in. He will work closely with SAN regional agency development field specialist John Read.
Terry most recently served as an insurance advisor for Liberty Mutual, notably playing a key role in the insurer’s Fairfield County, CN office customer acquisition and business development strategies. While working for Liberty Mutual, he was recognized for his accomplishments and was awarded the PLP Fast Start Award during his first year with the company.
He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
“Mike brings energy and a unique perspective to our organization, and we are thrilled to have him join the team,” said SAN Group COO Frank Waters in a statement. “With a proven track record for successfully leading large scale initiatives and delivering exceptional customer service, Mike is well-suited to spearhead SAN’s business development efforts in Connecticut and Rhode Island.”
