The Hamilton, New Jersey office of RT Specialty has brought in four new colleagues.
The unit, which is part of the wholesale broker’s environmental and construction professional practice, appointed Chris Bair, David Hart, Jack Jamison, and Chara Slater (all pictured left to right) as consultant, account administrators (Hart and Jamison), and account manager, respectively.
RT ECP president Jeff Slivka noted: “These four individuals bring a wealth of skills and experience. They also share our team’s commitment to service and our growth mindset.”
With a background in the insurance industry as a sales manager, producer, and underwriter, Bair brings a multi-faceted perspective to the team. His expertise in construction professional and pollution lines will be essential in his new role, it was outlined. He has earned the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist (CLCS), and Construction Risk Insurance Specialist (CRIS) designations.
Meanwhile Hart’s experience spans insurance, employee benefits, and customer service, providing him with the knowledge and communication skills needed to excel as an account administrator. He will be responsible for account management, policy servicing, and supporting new business.
Fellow account administrator Jamison previously served as an intramural sports director, demonstrating strong management, marketing, and statistical skills, the firm said. He now brings these talents to the field of risk management and insurance.
Slater – with experience in finance and insurance as a claims service representative, investment specialist, clearance specialist, and placement assistant – brings a wealth of industry knowledge to her remit as an account manager, it was outlined. She will assist with underwriting, day-to-day servicing, and client proposals, renewals, and placements.
“I’m excited to collaborate with Chris, David, Jack, and Chara, and I’m confident that our team and our clients will benefit from their contributions,” Slivka added. “Their backgrounds show that they are highly capable, motivated, and passionate about risk management, and I fully expect them to flourish in their new positions here.”
