Lockton’s Northeast business has revealed that it has gained the services of Bruce Cohen, who will serve as the group’s new senior vice-president, client executive.
“Bruce has worked with global clients to help them manage their complex global risk in the United States and Latin America for years,” said Lockton Washington D.C. president Bob Connolly. “We are excited to welcome and support Bruce as we continue to grow our business in the Northeast.”
Following his appointment, Cohen will be based in Lockton’s Washington D.C. office.
Cohen has nearly 30 years of expertise in the industry. Prior to joining Lockton, he had spent almost 20 years at
Marsh, serving the company’s clients in Latin America and the US. He lived in Mexico City and later Miami, “where he worked with clients and trained hundreds of colleagues in the Caribbean and Latin America,” a release said.
He spent much of his time working with government contracting, technology, manufacturing and food and beverage clients. A release said that Cohen specializes in multinational risk and international casualty placements. He has a Master’s Degree in International Public Policy from Johns Hopkins University and a bachelor’s in finance and business administration from the University of Colorado. Cohen also has the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designations.
