Relation Insurance Services has acquired the assets of Business Aviation Insurance Services, Inc. (BAIS), an aviation insurance specialist based in Concord, Calif.
The transaction, which took effect on November 1, 2024, expands Relation’s footprint in the aviation insurance market. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
BAIS, led by owner Geoff Logan, specializes in providing insurance solutions for the aviation industry. Logan will remain in his role, continuing to manage the Concord office as part of Relation’s operations.
Logan stated that partnering with Relation will provide BAIS clients with access to additional resources, including Relation’s in-house expertise and extensive network of carrier relationships.

Relation Insurance Services is a privately held brokerage offering risk management and benefits consulting services across the United States. The company is backed by Aquiline Capital Partners, a private equity firm with a focus on investments in financial services and technology businesses globally.
Earlier this year, the firm also expanded in Oklahoma with the acquisition of the assets of First Insurance, an affiliate of FirstBank, Inc. First Insurance provides a full range of insurance products including commercial, personal, farm and ranch, and manufacturing.
In April, Relation announced its acquisition of Elite Insurance, a Brooklyn-based firm offering employee benefits, commercial insurance, and high-net-worth (HNW) personal insurance.
