Inszone Insurance Services has announced its acquisition of Truman Van Dyke Company, a provider of insurance services to the entertainment industry since 1953.
Founded by Truman Van Dyke Sr. and his son, the company has deep roots in the industry, with Van Dyke Sr. having a background as a silent film actor before transitioning to an insurance agent.
This background, coupled with familial connections to the industry through marriage to renowned costume designer Renié, has provided the agency with insights into the insurance needs of the entertainment world.
The integration of Truman Van Dyke Company into the firm is expected to bolster Inszone’s growth trajectory, with the company looking to making further announcements regarding its expansion.
Chris Walters, CEO of Inszone Insurance Services, highlighted the acquisition as a pivotal move.
“By combining our resources with Truman Van Dyke’s extensive legacy, we’re poised to offer top-notch, tailored solutions. Clients can expect the same outstanding service, now empowered by Inszone’s capabilities. As we embark on this exciting venture, Inszone is committed to national expansion and evolving alongside our clients in the dynamic entertainment industry,” Inszone CEO Chris Walters said.
This latest acquisition is the latest in a series, with Inszone also recently acquiring Southwest Insurance to bolster its trucking portfolio.
