QBE North America has announced the promotion of Kristy Kendle to regional executive for the company’s Western Region, which includes the states of Arizona, California, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming. In her new role, Kendle will be responsible for growth across QBE’s specialized insurance portfolio and the development of all agent and broker relationships in the region. She will be based in QBE’s regional hub office in San Francisco.
“As regional executive, Kristy is the primary representative of the entire QBE enterprise in the Western Region,” said Mark Cantin, president of field operations for QBE North America. “She has been serving as the interim regional executive, and with her proven leadership, we’re confident the team can further build on the strong momentum we have in the West.”
Kendle has more than 20 years of industry experience. She joined QBE in 2016 as a business development leader. Prior to QBE, she served as regional vice president for The Hanover Insurance Group, where she more than doubled her region’s book of business in five years. Kendle has also held positions at Travelers, AIG and Chubb.
