Pro MGA, the independent managing general agent incubation division of Pro Global Holdings, has announced the appointment of David Goodley as its new head of compliance.
Goodley will be succeeding Gordon Burrows, the previous head of compliance, who will be departing from Pro MGA at the end of October.
Goodley brings a wealth of experience to the role, having established his own compliance company, City Compliance, in 2012, providing regulatory compliance services across the insurance industry, with a particular focus on brokers and MGAs.
Prior to founding City Compliance, Goodley held senior compliance positions at Lloyds TSB, Marsh, Barbon Insurance Group, and Tesco Bank.
“Offering this platform for regulatory compliance and expertise is a key USP for Pro MGA Global Solutions as an MGA incubator because it addresses a critical need in the insurance industry and helps position MGAs we support for successful growth in a highly regulated market. I know that David will continue to drive further enhancements for the benefit of not only our own business but also the diverse range of customers we serve,” Pro MGA CEO Danny Maleary said.
